Turn help tips on or off

Two separate switches: the pop-up tips that appear on their own, and the quiet "?" marks that don't.

Two switches, on purpose

The help system has a loud half and a quiet half, and they're controlled separately so that turning off the interrupting one doesn't take the other with it.

The switches

• Show helper tips The little pop-up tips that appear the first time you see a part of the app.

  This is the half that interrupts. Turning it off stops tips appearing on their own.

• Show help marks A small "?" in the corner of anything that has a tip.

  This half only sits there. Leaving it on means a dismissed tip is still readable later.

Change them

1. Open Settings.
2. Find the help section.
3. Toggle either switch.

   There's no Save button; the change applies immediately.

Each tip shows once and then stays dismissed. If you turn helper tips off and later want one back, the "?" marks are how you find it.
