Goldfish a deck on the playmat

Deal a real opening hand on a real mat, mulligan it, and see how the deck actually draws.

What goldfishing is for

Playing a deck out on your own, with no opponent and no timer, to see how it draws and curves. It's the cheapest way to find out that your three-color manabase doesn't work.

This is a playtest surface, not a rules engine. Nothing is enforced: no priority, no turn order, no legality policing. It does the bookkeeping and leaves the game to you.

Open a mat

  1. Open the deck you want to test.
  2. Go to its Goldfish tab.
  3. Choose Open playmat.

The deck is shuffled server-side and dealt straight onto the mat.

  4. Use the top drawer for Draw 7, Mulligan, Keep, Next turn and Restart.

It remembers where you were

Each deck keeps one goldfish room, so coming back to it picks up where you left off rather than starting again. If you want a clean board, use Restart.

The same mat seats up to four players with their own decks if you'd rather test against someone. Anyone else who joins watches and can chat.
