Read the deck analyzer
The Analysis tab tells you whether a deck is ready to play or build, what it is doing (curve, colors, land makeup), what it is trying to do (its themes), and what to bring to the table.
Where it is
Open a deck and switch to its Analysis tab. It works on physical and virtual decks alike, so you can sanity-check a brew before committing any cardboard to it.
Above everything sit a readiness banner and the Analysis Scope switches (Include Sideboard, Include Maybeboard, Include Lands). Below them, six section tabs with the Goldfish this deck button beside them: Overview, Deck Health, Collection Coverage (Physical Deck Status on a physical deck), Deck Structure, Strategy & Mechanics and Bring to the Table.
The six sections
- Overview A stable, read-only dashboard. The readiness banner above the tabs reads This Brew is Ready! or Brew Incomplete, the same wording for physical and virtual decks, with a button to the tab that explains why. Below it: Deck Facts, then a summary tile for every other section. Selecting a tile opens the full section; nothing on Overview itself expands.
- Deck Health The Legality drawer and the Recommendations drawer.
Deck Health measures your lands, creatures and other spells, plus ramp, card draw, removal and board wipes where the format defines them, against the range that format usually wants. A number outside its range isn't a rule broken; it's a question worth answering on purpose.
- Collection Coverage / Physical Deck Status For a virtual deck: ownership and availability, Required Cards Needed with up to three replacement suggestions per missing card, and Convert to Physical Deck once everything required is covered. For a physical deck: allocation status, conflict detection, Shared Card Analysis, and Reallocate.
- Deck Structure The Mana Value Curve on top, then Type Distribution, Land Makeup and Color Distribution as donuts. Click a legend row to hide or show that category; the percentages follow what is visible, and Show all brings everything back. Below the charts, Mana Base counts the colored pips your spells ask for against the colored sources your lands provide, color by color, with a recommended source count for each and the cards to review when the deck sits below it.
- Strategy & Mechanics A highlight reel of the deck's strongest patterns, then its full Game Plan, its Mechanics & Synergies (including card types it pays off), its Creature Types & Tribal Synergies, and the functional roles its cards play. Selecting a tile opens its details: Primary cards (the ones that do the thing) and Support cards (the ones that reward it), and its only evidence is a card count, never a score.
- Bring to the Table All four categories (Tokens, Counters, Granted Abilities, Other Game Pieces) listed on the page at once, read straight from the card text. Selecting an individual tile opens the relationships and cards behind it. It names what to bring and never how many.
Include Lands takes lands out of the Deck Structure charts. Strategy & Mechanics and Bring to the Table always look at lands, so a landfall theme or a Treasure-making land is reported either way.
