Add a friend and share your collection
Connect with someone, then choose whether they can browse your cards and see your wishlist.
Friendship first, sharing second
Adding a friend and sharing your collection are two separate decisions. Becoming friends lets you trade, lend and message. It does not, on its own, let anyone look through your cards.
Add a friend
- Go to Friends.
- Send a request to the person you want to connect with.
- Wait for them to accept.
The friendship becomes mutual on acceptance, and both of you get credit for the Getting Started step.
What they can browse
- Once the request is accepted, a friend can browse your collection from your name under Friends in the sidebar, with no extra switch to flip.
Collection visibility is friends-only by default, and there is no public option.
- To keep your collection to yourself, open Settings, set Collection Privacy to Private, and save.
Friends stay friends either way; they just see that your collection isn't shared.
- Your wishlist has its own visibility setting, separate on purpose: plenty of people keep the collection private but still want friends to know what to look out for.
What stays private either way
Individual cards can be hidden from friends one at a time, notes are always private to you, and tomes are never visible to anyone browsing your collection.
A wish is recorded against the card rather than one printing, so a friend who can see your wishlist knows any copy will do.
