Free-form labels you define, searchable and filterable from the collection view.

Tags are whatever you need them to be

There is no fixed vocabulary. People use tags for format legality, for a deck they're planning, for trade status, for "keep" and "sell": anything the built-in fields don't already cover. They're searchable and filterable from the collection view, which is what makes them worth the typing.

Add a tag

1. Open a card to its detail view.
2. Expand the Tags section.
3. Type a label and confirm it.
4. Filter by that tag from the collection's filter bar.

The other fields in the same area

• Alias A personal nickname or playgroup shorthand for the card.
• Notes Private free-text, visible only to you.

  Trade history, sentimental value, reprint reminders: anything unstructured.

• Location Where the physical copy lives.

Anything you type into one of these fields counts as a collector detail, so filling in a single tag ticks that Getting Started step.
